Weekday Afterschool Program, age 5+
A comprehensive after school program offers 1-hour daily class on interactive conversational Chinese and 1 hour in music (piano & guitar) or art/craft lesson. There is no prerequisite to enroll. Level I to V age 5-12 (2hr wkly) Yr Long
Students start to work on their formal verbal, reading, and writing skills on Chinese words, stories, and poems. Students are grouped in novice to advance levels. Competency is determined in weekly homework assignments and term examinations. Prerequisite of completion on prior level is required. Mid-semester entry will require teacher's evaluation for proper class placement. |
Conversation, all age (2hr wkly)
This is a beginner Chinese class for young children who have little or no prior experience. Class focuses on creating a fun and interactive environment where students can build on their basic verbal, writing, and character recognition skills through games and practices. |
